seed dispersal

Seed dispersal is the transport of seeds away from the parent plant through methods such as the wind, water, or an animal carrying it on its body. There are two categories of seed dispersal: autochory and and allochory. The first is dispersal through the parent plant's own means such as gravity. The second is dispersal through alternative methods. The seeds could be dispersed with the help of the wind or an animal. The seeds could get attached to the fur of organisms and it would get dispersed as those organisms move around.
