amniotic egg

An amniotic egg is the egg of an organism that lays its eggs on land or the eggs remain within the female. Embryonic membranes which includes the amniotic sac that surrounds a fetus are components that distinguishes amniotes from tetrapod amphibians. The shark egg in the pictures are examples of amniotic eggs.
