eukaryote

A eukaryote is an organism with cells that contain complex, membrane-bound structures and a nucleus. Compared to prokaryotes, eukaryotes have the previously mentioned factors and also the mitochondria, lysosomes, peroxisomes, an endoplasmic reticulum, larger ribosomes, and a Golgi apparatus among other differences. Eukaryotes are multicellular organisms such as humans and fishes.
