unicellular organism

A unicellular organism only have one cell. Examples of a unicellular organism are bacteria, archaea, protozoa, and prokaryotes. Unicellular organisms are the oldest form of life on Earth and they could exist in extreme environments. In the picture is a piece of bread which is made from yeast--a unicellular organism.
